in other news, manchester united and chelsea both lost today while arsenal won.  it is a wonderful day.

in other news, my patternmaking teacher yelled at me today, saying i'm probably the most talented designer in the class but i don't work hard enough.  i suppose that's a good reason to yell at someone.

yes, i had white castle today for the first time, which was spoiled by the presence of cheese on my burgers when i specifically asked for none.  unbelievable...

anyway.

although the paris shows are still going on, i'm going to go ahead and say that if you look at only ONE collection this season, look at haider ackerman.  i'm not going to post my favorites here because i want to you look at the whole collection--it's brilliant.  

in more important news, i've begun leaning towards leaving FIT after earning my AAS degree at the end of this semester, which isn't that big of a surprise actually.  i know i can learn much more in the next 2 years from actually working in the industry than staying in school.  plus, i don't want to stay in school that much longer and spend money on supplies and such while not making any money.  i know the economy sucks right now and very few people are hiring but i think i'm going to give it a shot.  now about finding an apartment...

so...

long time, no?  no, i haven't abandoned this blog.  it's just that the past 5 weeks have probably been the busiest period of my LIFE!  fashion week didn't help either.  i turned in a major project this morning and now finally have a lull in deadlines for the moment.  unfortunately, i don't have pictures to show you guys yet, but i can say that i'm quite excited about one project in particular and i'll definitely show you guys when i have pictures. i'm not sure if i'll post them here though since it's TOP SECRET.
